Energy Recovery Ventilation Program
What is it?
An energy-saving program designed to increase the comfort inside your facility by reducing humidity.
How does it work?
To qualify for a rebate, the Commercial Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) must be installed by a licensed contractor and meet the following requirements:
- ARI net total thermal effectiveness for cooling condition must be 50 percent or greater.
- The ERV unit or ERV components must be Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) certified.
- Only areas with dedicated electric commercial heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are eligible.
- Equipment efficiency ratings from AHRI rating procedure standard 1060-2000 are required.
- Proof of ERV cost, contract date and inventory of equipment installed (invoice and/or proof of purchase).
The rebate will be based on the size and efficiency of the ERV unit, as well as the heating type for the HVAC system. View the rebate table for more information.
